Eco Technological Solutions Limited (EcoTec), is a specialised engineering design company that has concentrated on the problem of gas flaring in the oil industry.

Gas flaring is dangerous to health and a waste of an energy resource that comes about because of the costs associated with transporting it to a main gas pipeline connection point. Simply, it’s more cost effective to burn off the gas by flaring. However, gas flaring has dire consequences by not only releasing carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere which seriously contributes to the greenhouse gas effect, but also results in local health problems by polluting the surrounding land and releasing carcinogenic poisoning.

EcoTec has channelled its resources into designing an economical solution so as to convert the wasted gas into providing important bi-products.
